The highly rated 26 year Serbian star has scored 10 goals in 26 games this season with news of the impending arrival being made on the club’s You Tube channel.

Djordjevic will be joining a Lazio side that is putting up a strong fight in the race to secure a European place. The Roman outfit have won three of their last 5 games to move to within 6 points of 5th place Inter Milan.

Last time out the club recorded a 2-0 in over Cagliari and they will fancy their chances of back to back wins against a Milan side that has lost each of their last four games in all competitions, going down 4-2 at home to Parma last time out.

Reports in Italy clam that manager Clarence Seedorf has two games to save his job and with Fiorentina to follow the Lazio clash the pressure will be on the former Milan midfielder.

Elsewhere on Sunday, Napoli face Fiorentina in the game of the day, Juventus travel to Catania, Udinese face Sassuolo, Inter are at home to Atalanta, Sampdoria and Verona do battle at the Stadio Comunale Luigi Ferraris, in-form Parma are up against Genoa and strugglers Bologna face 15th place Cagliari.

Roma will look to keep hold of second place in the table when they travel to take on struggling Chievo on Saturday.

Rudi Garcia’s men ended a run of two games without a win last time out with a nervy 3-2 win over Udinese and with Napoli breathing down their neck they will be keen to build on that win.

They face a Chievo side that has won just two of their last 13 games and will head into the game on the back of a 3-1 defeat to Fiorentina.

The club are 16th in the table just one point and two places above third from bottom Bologna.

Elsewhere on Saturday, midtable Torino will look to end a run of four successive defeats when they take on Livorno.
