Despite the club still in with a shout of the title, Roma manager Rudi Garcia has claimed that the focus for the final 10 games of the season is on keeping hold of second place.

“We’ll keep battling to hold on to second place,” he said. “I think that’s the only realistic target now, despite our injuries.

“We’re still not sure of second place, we mustn’t let up. We have to make sure we win at home tomorrow (against Torino).

“What do we need to reach Juventus’ level? They’ve had a record-breaking season so far, but then so have we.”

Roma will be keen to avenge the 1-1 draw with Torino back in November, a result that ended their run of 10 straight wins and began a wobble that would ultimately hand the initiative to Juventus in the title race.

However while the players will be keen out for revenge, Garcia wants his players to focus on the current game and forget the past.

“Our 10-game winning streak ended against Torino after a number of refereeing mistakes, but anyone can make mistakes,” he added.

“We played well in that game against Torino, but all that matters now is tomorrow’s match. We want to push on.”

Roma will hand a late fitness test to Maicon before the game. The defender is struggling with a knee injury and is a doubt.

Torino meanwhile warmed up for the clash with a 3-1 win over Livorno, a game that saw Ciro Immobile score a hat-trick.

The treble took the Italian international top of the domestic goal scoring charts and ended a four game winless run for Torino.
