In a fiery encounter that saw five yellow cards and one red on the pitch and the dismissal of Conte and Catania manager Rolando Maran from the side-lines, a 16th goal of the season from former Manchester City forward Carlos Tevez sealed the three points.

While Tevez scored the goal that sealed a sixth straight win, Conte was full of praise for the Argentine’s strike partner, Pablo Osvaldo after the on-loan Southampton man created the chance.

“He has settled in very well,” the 44-year-old coach said.

“Daniel arrived in January, so we had to prepare a different approach for him.

“He has great qualities and trained the right way, so he can become an important player for Juventus.

“He has technique and I am happy with what he’s doing at the moment.

“I am convinced that if we have time to work with him physically as well as tactically, we can see a whole other level to his game. I know he can do so much more.”

Osvaldo could return to the bench against in-form Parma however Fernando Llorente pushing for a recall. Paul Pogba could also come back into the side after suspension however defender Andrea Barzagli and midfielder Claudio Marchisio are doubtful for the clash.

Parma have just one of their last 19 games and already this month have beaten Milan 4-2 at the San Siro and drawn with Fiorentina 2-2 at home.

In forwards Antonio Cassano and Amauri have the ammunition to trouble Juventus while their defence has also proved solid this season with six clean sheets in their last 11 games.

The club drew 1-1 in their last outing with on-loan Inter star Ezequiel Schelotto rescuing a point.
