Antonio Conte’s men are currently 14 points clear at the top of the table and will head into the game on the back of a 22 game unbeaten run. The club set a domestic record midweek when they recorded their 15th successive win in the 2-1 win over Parma.

With just 8 games remaining the club are on course for a third successive title and they will officially end the slim hopes of third place Napoli with a victory on Sunday.

Napoli have already lost twice at home this season and crashed 3-0 when they played Juve in Turin and while mathematically they still have a chance of the title, the focus for Rafa Benitez and his men is catching second place Roma.

The Naples outfit are just six point behind their rivals and Benitez believes his side are capable of reducing the gap.

“Our goal is still trying to reach Roma. It also depends on them and how they are playing in their commitments,” Benitez said.

“They are now ahead of us. But we have to try to do everything possible to end this season in a brilliant way.

“We must trust in our abilities and what might happen, there are still 24 points left to play for in the upcoming games.”

Napoli will recall Gonzalo Higuain to the line-up after the striker was rested for the 4-2 midweek win over Catania while Juventus are sweating on the fitness of Claudio Marchisio.

Roma will be confident of maintaining their advantage as they travel to relegation threatened Sassuolo. Rudi Garcia’s men beat Torino 2-1 midweek and they will be heavy favourites to secure a fourth successive win against a Sassuolo side that has won just two of their last 15 games.

Roma will be without Kevin Strootman and Federico Balzaretti, however Maicon and Francesco Totti are set to return.
