Inter Milan v AC Milan : Serie A title race still on as Allegri looks for victory in Milan Derby

AC Milan will be looking to keep the pressure on Serie A leaders Juventus this weekend when they face local rivals Inter as odds against favourites, while visitors can watch online using Bet365 and their live stream service, in what should be a fascinating encounter at the San Siro.

Going into this weekend, they are one point adrift of Juventus who dropped points against Lecce last time out. The title race is still on, no doubt about that.

Milan need to make sure they win their two remaining games and hope that Juventus feel the pressure and drop points. That’s all they can do. Focusing on their own form is crucial. They can’t be distracted by what is going on elsewhere.

Looking at the form of Massimiliano Allegri’s men going into this weekend’s fixture, they have won their last three Serie A games and haven’t tasted defeat in the league since the shock 2-1 home defeat to Fiorentina back at the start of April.

They have plenty of goalscoring threats at the moment too and appear in destructive form in front of goal. This is something they will be determined to continue between now and the end of the campaign.

As for Inter, this game is all about upsetting their fierce rivals’ title challenge. They know that if they win this weekend, it all but ends Milan’s hopes of finishing top of the table. This is motivation enough for them.

With regards to their own season, they have been rather disappointing overall, but they still do have European football to play for. As things stand they are only three points behind the final Champions League qualification place, so they need two wins to give themselves a chance.

If they do miss out on Europe, it will be their shocking run in the middle of the season that they have to blame. Under previous manager Claudio Ranieri, they lost five out of six games at the start of 2012.

More recently, they have shown better form with just one defeat in their last six, although this reverse did come at Parma last time out.

Overall, this one is set up perfectly to be an intense, competitive and entertaining Milan derby. It was 1-0 to Inter when these two met earlier in the season and one goal could be enough to settle things again.
