Juventus Atalanta : Conte eyes perfect Serie A record in Turin

Juventus will be in a celebratory mood this weekend when they host Atalanta on the final day of the Serie A season with the title already secured, as Bet365 announce a live stream on the game through their Serie A television service.

Going into the final day, Juventus are four points ahead of their nearest rivals AC Milan, so they can afford to relax and enjoy their first Serie A title win since 2002.

This doesn’t mean that they won’t want to win the game – everybody wants to finish the season on a high – but it seemed inevitable at one stage that the race for 1st position would go down to the wire. Instead, the pressure is lifted.

There is no doubt that Antonio Conte’s men deserve their title though. They have turned on the style in recent weeks with the pressure on, winning eight of their last nine games.

Much has been made of Milan dropping crucial points, but this mustn’t take anything away from Juventus’ achievement. They are also unbeaten across the entire league campaign, something they will be desperate to maintain this weekend.

As for Atalanta, they go into this game relatively relaxed about the need for points. As with any club, it would be ideal to finish with a win, but as they sit 11th going into the final day, there isn’t too much to play for.

They could still climb up to tenth with a win though and becoming the only team to beat Champions Juventus this season would be a commendable achievement.

Their form does seem to be fading away at the moment though with two defeats in succession going into this one. These defeats were at the hands of Milan and Lazio though, so it has been a tough end of the season for them.

Overall, this is set to be a special day for Juventus and one they would love to mark with a convincing win. Only an Atalanta side with very little to play for stands in their way.
