Sean Dyche and his Burnley side will once again grace the Premier League as they take on Swansea City in their season opener at Turf Moor.
With only £10m spent on transfers last time around things are much different for Burnley, with the side coming into the new season full of optimism, having won the Championship and in Andre Gray have a star in the making, the striker having smashed 25 goals last season, taking the golden boot and banging in 9 in 6 pre season friendlies.
The signs are all there for a promising season, and Burnley face a Swansea side which appears to be in a state of transition, with club legend Ashley Williams set to leave the club in a £12m deal for Everton, and Andre Ayew already packing his bags for London in a £20m move to West Ham.
There is good news on the attacking front however, with the Swans investing heavily in a brand new forward line. Fernando Llorente has arrived from Sevilla, while Borja Baston is set to sign from Eibar, where he bagged 18 goals in a very competitive La Liga, and with Gylfi Sigurdsson remaining in midfield the signs are still there that the Welsh side look to push on this season.
Burnley v Swansea Match Odds
Burnley look plenty big enough at 8/5 to take all three points from this season opener, while the Swans are 7/4 to take all three points today. It could be a tricky few weeks for Swansea boss Francesco Guidolin with his side taking time to gel following the arrival of a few new players.
A better bet may be to take the 2/1 on offer from Betvictor for Burnley striker Andre Gray to score anytime during the match. As mentioned, he bagged 25 goals last season in the Championship and has been on fire during pre season, smashing nine goals in only six appearances.
