Liverpool consider Fernando Llorente signing

According to reports, English Premier League outfit, Liverpool FC, have approached Italian Serie A giants Juventus over the possibility of signing Spain international, Fernando Llorente this summer. The striker signed for the Italian champions a couple of seasons back and although he has shown good form for the Turin side, is likely to be allowed to leave the club following the arrival of Croatia international, Mario Mandzukic from Spanish La Liga outfit, Atletico Madrid.

Llorente feels that the former Bayern Munich man’s arrival will result in him being relegated to the bench and has thus asked his agent to find him a club where he is guaranteed a regular berth in the starting XI.

And after sealing a move for Danny Ings from Burnley last month, Brendan Rodgers is keen on signing an experienced striker and sees the Basque native as a perfect man for the job as the Reds seek to add more firepower to their ranks.
