Arsenal make first summer signing

English Premier League giants, Arsenal FC have made their first summer signing of the season by bringing in Romanian Under 16 captain, Vlad Dragomir from ACS Poli Timisoara in a move that has cost the Gunners just 71,000 pounds. The youngster moves to Emirates as a first year scholar at the club’s academy.

The Gunners are set to announce the complete list of first year students at the academy soon and the club’s agent, Catalin Sarmasan is happy to have brought Dragomir to Hale End.

Speaking of the newest recruit, Mr Sarmasan said: “I offered Vlad to Arsenal a year and a half ago and they have monitored him closely.

“In my opinion, he is one of the most talented young players in Europe at the moment.”

Meanwhile, the club is also set to announce the signing of Petr Cech from Chelsea with the Czech shot stopper set to become the club’s number 1 for the new season.
