Reports in English media claim that France international, Morgan Schneiderlin has already agreed to a move to English giants, Manchester United from Southampton.
The dynamic midfielder had been a huge success at Saint Mary’s in the past couple of seasons and after some strong displays last season, attracted the likes of the Red Devils, Tottenham and Arsenal. However, it was United whose 30 million euros bid was accepted by the Saints.
Reportedly Schneiderlin was more inclined towards a move to the Emirates but with Arsenal not submitting a sizable bid, realised that a move to Old Trafford would be in his best interests. The Frenchman is likely to offer competition to Michael Carrick in the midfield and his arrival will definitely boost the team’s squad which really lacked a dynamic midfielder with less injury worries.
Southampton on the other hand, are now looking to bring young Netherlands international Jordie Classie to the club as a direct replacement for the outgoing France international.
