Despite the fact that Kevin de Bruyne has vowed to stay loyal to Wolfsburg, Manchester City are getting increasingly hopeful of signing the Belgium international.
The creative midfielder has been linked with a move away from Bundesliga all summer long and Manchester City have hinted that they will pay the asking price for the player, which is a mammoth 50 million pound. However, in a recently hosted award ceremony, the former Chelsea player let slip that he wants to stay with the German side despite the interest from Manchester City.
Wolfsburg want 57 million pound for their star player but the parties involved to get the deal done are increasingly hopeful that a deal will be negotiated between the two clubs for 50 million pounds. Player’s agent is working round the clock to get the deal done and people closer to de Bruyne have admitted that the player will soon be at the Etihad stadium.
