The former Barcelona defender believes that even though the Brazilian is satisfied and well settled in at Camp Nou, he is yet to discredit all the rumors surrounding him with a transfer move to Old Trafford.
Julian Belletti has stated that although the chances of Barcelona suffering the loss of Neymar are low, anything can happen when a club like Manchester United are involved.
When asked over whether a United move would appeal to his compatriot, the former Blaugrana defender told Omnisport: “No I don’t think so, Neymar is very happy in Barcelona.
“He has adapted to the team, the city and his family have adapted as well but nothing is impossible.”
Speaking in an interview at the Champions League draw, Belletti also stated that succeeding in Europe is every player’s desire.
“For players like Neymar and Messi, the ultimate dream is to uplift the team amongst the best teams involved.”
On what the groups could offer his former sides, the one-time European champion added: “It depends on the team.
“Barca and Chelsea are always favourites but that’s the Champions League, it’s about pressure and for sure they’re prepared for any difficulties.”
